You are the sun-dappled
tree path
I am the
joyful walk
Blush bougainvillea
spilling from above
petaled, bee-loved
gifted, through a gentle breeze
I hear notes
unheard on the lute
never sounded by birdsong
you are my soul’s troubadour
The enfolding
sweetness of you
when I’m fevered
unwrapped
Like a trusting child
I fall asleep
head on your chest
fingertips on your beard.

“You …the sun dappled tree path … I the joyful walk” What a great image! I’m liking that a lot. I also appreciate the rhythm of the phrasing and the continuing juxta-positioning of nature references and the human/emotional relationship.
Thanks for this morning present.
ps. Yesterday’s totally fubar’d typo laden comment was due to really tiny display on BlkBrry and being on a city train. Was basically inputting blind. D’oh!
So glad you liked my love unlimited images. Love and nature so closely bound, in my thoughts. John, don’t recall typos in your last comment. Fugghedaboudit! Thanks much for your read and comments! {{hugs}}
